Triode Corporation Ltd was established 12 years ago in Koshigaya-shi, Saitama, Japan. The founder, Mr. Junichi Yamazaki was a former engineer for the Japan National railway who loves music and high-end stereo equipment. The sound Quality of these products is second to none. The workmanship is top notch, It's Japanese precision permeates the entire piece of equipment. The Tri 845SE first of all is drop-dead-gorgeous! A finer looking piece of audio gear I have not seen. But looks are not why we buy audio gear-they don’t hurt however. This new integrated amp from Junichi uses the legendary 845 tube, initially intended as a radio transmitting tube. Its build is much more solid than of the 300B and which helps one attain more power – in this particular case 20W comparing to 8W from 300B. When used with the extremely efficient Bastanis open baffle speakers, you can hear the glorious midrange and extended top that other SET’s can’t achieve. There is an open window on the music, with no veiling whatsoever. TRV-845SE is a Pure Class-A Pre-main amplifier fully consists of triode tubes. By using 2A3 tubes to drive 845, both dynamic and subtle sound of 845 is further enhanced. A newly developed large EI Orient-core output transformer creates a profound middle and bass sound. For the first time in an integrated amplifier, Tri arranged a remote control for TR-845SE.
